Provals Named Finalist in the Herefordshire Business Awards 2026

We are delighted to announce that Provals has been selected as a finalist in the Professional Services Business of the Year category at the Herefordshire Business Awards 2026.

For a small, family-run business like Provals, this recognition means a great deal.

Customer service is not something we regard as an additional part of what we do. It is at the heart of the Provals business.

Every day, we work with solicitors, executors and families who are dealing with what can be an incredibly difficult and emotional period in their lives. Probate can be complicated, time-consuming and, for many families, overwhelming.

Our role is therefore about much more than providing a valuation.

It is about listening. It is about being available. It is about explaining things clearly. It is about doing what we say we will do. and, perhaps most importantly, it is about solving problems rather than creating them.

More than a valuation

Our approach to probate valuation is deliberately thorough. We undertake detailed, room-by-room inspections, carefully recording and valuing the contents of an estate.

That attention to detail has uncovered valuable assets that families and executors simply did not know were there, including gold sovereigns, significant amounts of cash and valuable jewellery.

But discovering an asset is only part of the service.

We understand that behind every valuation is a family, a solicitor and an estate that needs to be dealt with properly. That is why we place such importance on communication, professionalism, sensitivity and personal service.

We want our clients to feel that they are being looked after, not simply processed.

Being named a finalist alongside other excellent Herefordshire businesses is a tremendous honour.

The Herefordshire Business Awards have been celebrating the county's business community since 2017, recognising businesses, organisations and individuals across a wide range of sectors. The 2026 awards will take place at Lyde Court on Friday 16 October, bringing together more than 300 guests from across the county.
